Previously the only way your legs could propel you up to 50mph was by leaping off the nearest cliff. But Audi has built a working concept of a (slightly) safer method of human propulsion – the e-bike Wörthersee. In 'Pedelec' mode it combines your pedal power with a 3bhp motor to propel its carbon frame at up to 50mph, while the 'eGrip' motor mode hits 31mph, pedal-free. With the assisted 'wheelie' modes, tricks become easier too. For extra geek cred there's also a Wi-Fi-enabled onboard computer, allowing you to disable its immobiliser remotely via app. A bike with an immobiliser? Safe, and cool.
